clutch break-in

Default clutch break-in

what is a clutch break-in? why do i have to break in my new stage 1 clutch? what if i dont? pls help. i recently bought a stage 1 clutch from gripforce.

500 miles..

Stop/Go traffic.. or if your me.. i sometimes do it a little sooner..

Some people believe in doing this.. some don't..

i have run almost 250 kms from it now, can i now use the full force of my clutch? will something bad if i dont break in my clutch?

full disc type clutches have a coating from the factory that gets 'glazed' basically slippery, if you dont allow a decent break in period (500-750).

i think puck types are good to beat on from the start.

i use the standard 500 miles break in period. if you wanna push it, you'll likely have no problems after 300 or so miles of good break in. imo
