Default is there a trick to this?

I'm trying to get that bolt off of the top of my shocks. I have the spring compressed and am using an allen wrench as well as a regular wrench, just like in that picture. But that bolt is not even budging. I was just wondering if theres a trick to it or something cause I can't get it to budge. thanks

Use some PB Blaster and let it soak. That may help.

Or the easy way to do it is to use an impact gun and blast it off. Put the back end of the shock underneath something heavy (tire and wheel), step on the hat of the shock assembly, and hit the 14mm bolt with an impact gun.
