It's a fourth gen, behind the smoked glass, on the right side above where the passenger airbag cover is (if you have one).

I didn't know what that was either so I just took it out

 

its a camera and someone is looking at u when u hit vtec they see ur mad vtak face, lol i dont do u have an alarm?

 

lol, no i dont think i have an alarm.. my doors dont even lock lol. i'll just take it off and see if anything stops working.

isnt that where the clock is? maybe it has something do to with that?

Illumination controller sounds right. A couple years ago i tried unhooking mine and, iirc, the gas+temp gauges wouldn't dim when you turn the headlights on.

 

Ya I'm pretty sure it's the illumination control. If it doesn't make the gas/temp dim, then this is my next project lol. I hate how dim they get at night.

Turn your dimmer switch all the up.

 

A little black box?? hmm theres a black box in all cars obdII that monitors how one drives the car. For example, if you were to neutral drop it the dealership can tell my plugging into the module. Alot of chevy's do this im not sure if Honda does. They acutally call them black boxes as well. Insurance companies have a lawsuit out right now to get rid of them because it throws a serious battle between 2 conflicting companies when an accident takes place. It measures all driving time one minute before air bags deploy and records it
