sup guys, i've exhausted the search option and couldn't find a resolution. hope i can get some useful tips.

i've installed a transmission on my 92 lude and when i start the car and pop it in 1st gear, the car doesnt even attempt to accelerate. i just here the flywheel spins.. it can shift into all gears when im in idle.

what troubles me is that .. you know when you hold down the clutch and throw it into 1st gear and then gas it so the car wont stall right? WELL.. problem is, i hold down the clutch, throw it into 1st gear and when i release the clutch(still in 1st gear) , the car doesnt stall. i didnt even press on the gas and the car doesnt stall.. i can be in idle and WITHOUT stepping on the clutch, i can shift into all the gears... so for sure something is wrong..

so im thinking, do i need to change clutch? or is there something im missing? thanks

p.s. i've also read guides on re/assemble prelude transmission also and everything i did was step by step.
