CRANK SENSOR? DISTRIBUTOR WOES
I'm going trough this problem too. For the past couple weeks, ever since I swapped in a 91 si flywheel, pressure plate, and a cluch along with a cable hf tranny to a d16y7 its been acting up. The car would have a hard time starting when its cold. But more recently a week ago, I swapped in an si tranny and for the past couple days the car would just turn off right after I punch it. There seems to always be a misfire, and the engine bogs out when I floor it completely. Will the flywheel make a difference on the rotation/timing of the crank and crank sensor?? The 91 flywheel is slightly bigger than the flywheel that was on the motor when I took it off, so maybe that might be the cause?? If someone knows a lot about this reply or send me a pm, your time will be much appreciated
