I WAS WONDERING IF U GUYS CAN HELP ME OUT ON WITH THIS CEL. ITS P0453 Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage, I CHECK ALL MY HOSES AND PLUG, AND EVERYTHING SEEM TO BE PLUG IN. I ALSO NOTICE THAT WHEN I OPEN MY GAS CAP IT DOESN'T MAKE THAT PSSSSSSSSHH SOUND, IVE TRIED IT ON MY BROTHERS INTEGRA AND IT MADE THAT SOUND, IVE DRIVE A 97 HONDA CIVIC EX WITH HEADERS, INTAKE AND 2.25 PIPING, PLEASE HELP I NEED TO SMOG MY CAR SOON. THANKS IN ADVANCE

 

first thing to try is replacing your fuel cap. simple/easy/cheap

ive tried a new gas cap also, well actually i use my brothers gas cap to see how it goes and it work for a feel miles but it still turn on and i also read on the FFS technet it said u can trick the ecu, does anybody have a diagram or a diy article where i can to this

 

um whats with you people not knowing how to turn off your CEL? Just unhook your battery cables for about 20 mins and hook them back up and the CEL will turn off.

 

That still wont do any good. The ECU still stores the code. And the cel will just come right back on until you fix the problem.

 

ive already try unhooking my battery, still turn back on as i stated earlier if that was to do the trick i wouldnt be here making this topic

 

If you cant figure out the problem see if you can search and find a way to trick the ECU for your smog purposes.

 

ive try searching so much about it and it gave me a headache, all the things i look at didnt give me that much information about it
