i got a eg hatch with a gsr running fine..but todya i noticed like if the car wasnt running on all four cylinder after 3000 rpm so i checked the spark on each sparkplug and they were all working fine...then i disconnected the distributor and replaced the coil and the rotor and now the car does not want to turn on....all the spark plugs are getting spark and the car is getting fuel...why wont it start all i did was disconnect the distrubutor overhaul it and put it back in...i did not mess with any other components......

 

did you make sure to get the firing order correct, its 1342, and from right to left on the motor the cylinder number 1234 and on the dizzy starting at the top

did u remove the dizzy? if so check and see if the dizzy is in 180* upside-down.

 

thanx guys but it was the ignitor that was messed up....i swapped on another distributor and it started right up....
