how do i find the bad axle?

Default how do i find the bad axle?

hey so im 99% sure one of my axles is going, which isnt a big deal i can replace it and move on. i dont want to change both tho. how do i figure out which axle is bad if my boots are in tact? isnt it; turn left and clicking its the right axle, turn right and its the left axle? or am i makin this up lol. help is appreciated.

you have it backwards. its always the inside axle b/c it has more load. since the outter tire has to travel farther the inside wheel soaks up more power.

Raise the front of the car, put the transmission in gear, and rotate the wheel back and forth to detect axle slop.
