Default Car Smoking Alot!!

So this morning I crank my car up with my remote start, after about 5min of finishing getting ready to leave for work, I walk outside and see a little cloud of blue smoke floating around, car has been running for about 5min. So I pull off and it smokes a little going out my neighborhood, and once I get onto the main road and go into boost, there is no smoke. I thought my seals in the turbo were shot, but wouldn't the car smoke under boost as well if that was the case. Maybe it has something to do with my oil return or oil feed. Any ideas? I am running a ebay 57 trim, 3AN feed line, with a oil rest. on it!!

Sounds like the turbo has damage. No the car would not smoke under accel in the early stages of turbo damage.

I am no fan of running the -3 feed line on a journal bearing turbo. It does not supply enough oil to the turbo and will eventually fail. I see this happen on the large units in a short period of time.

Do you not recommend a -3 with a restrictor or just a -3 period? If not then what do you recommend?

update, just got the car street tuned yesterday. it hasn't smoked on morning start ups since. Any ideas why it changed. I park my car on a hill so maybe that's it.

well i have a presicion turbo t3 t4 ar .70 trim if the car was smoking prior to tunning i almost bet you were running rich? i see this alot what happens is you get fuel leaking down past the rings causing the oil to break down quicker and starts to burn oil bro and if you want to hold excessive amounts of oil through feed line place a nitrous jet in the line that helps
