crazy smoke randomly? what the hell?
so t28bb on a d16z6. car runs fine always... but after i drive it and it gets hot its ok no smoke at all,
if i turn the car off and start it up in poors smoke out worse than a head gasket, really badly, cant see around me ,smoke is white but smells like oil.
also oil is coming out of the intake duct for the turbo after i shut it off.
so do i need to rebiuld the turbo? if so since it is ball bearing does it make it more dificult to rebuild? ive done regular turbo's but never torn a bb apart, also my oil line out of the turbo has a slight bend that may be causing a block in the flow and oil is building up? i cant see this being the problem bc i have driven the car boosted for 5k miles no smoke no problem. what do you guys suggest?

1. oil shouldnt come out of turbo intake/compressor
* either turbo needs rebuild or fix the return line which its probably too late for that since oil is being pushed past the seals in the turbo already
2. Could be a more serious problem.
3. Yeah.

Re: (AbitAvenger)
so rebuilding a ball bearing turbo is the same as a regular turbo? since its whit smoke i figure its a coolant seal and it doesnt smoke at all untill the car is hot and i shut it off.
