Default Rolling Fenders. Not a DIY Question.

So I went to an auto body shop today to ask about rolling my rear fenders since my tires are rubbing on them-bad. The guy said he'd have to cut into the metal and its gonna cost me a couple hundred dollars. I'm asking if it's possible to bend that metal and that weld thingy on the EM2 left and right rear fender. BTW my wheel size are 215/45/17 and my car's lowered by 2.5". I've only been riding on them for a few days since I switched them back on last memorial day weekend and i want to do something fast so I don't waste my tires.

yeh i could spend an arm and a leg getting new, smaller tires. but if i roll my fenders, then i would be fine riding with these tires right? any of you who's rolled fenders for the EM2 before or did any mods to fit your tires got any tips you can give me will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You could run some camber to fit them, if you don't feel like getting dirty. But, rolling your fenders doesn't require cutting. Just careful use of heat and a fender roller. You could get about an inch of extra clearance at the top of the tires, if you roll them properly.
