ok i know the golden rule low compression for turbo set up yada yada yada i was going to run 8.8 or 9.0 to 1 but i came across a good deal on a set that are 10 to 1 and from what i have been reading with a little extra tuning and less boost the ratio would be ok and if i got a thicker headgasket that would also lower the compression ratio a little as well so my question really is would it be ok to run 10 to 1 compression ratio pistons in a turbo b18b1 on 9lbs tuned with crome mods supporting are i beam rods eagle crank itr water pump and oil pump port and polish head skunk to retainers and springs skunk2 cam gears catch can 450cc dsm blue tops help please guys

thanks man i ended up just biting the bullet and buying some cp 9:1 compression pistons to be safe

 

9:1 is a good choice
