Default Big brake problem with my car

Ok my car has a problem with the brake system if I dont use the car everyday brake fluid starts to leak near the passenger side wheel, normally the pedal will start to get low then I would put more brake fluid in and it would get back to normal. Well this time I didn't use the car for about three days and it drained almost all the fluid, to the point where the pedal touches the floor and even then I have very little braking power. I tried to put more brake fluid in but it doesn't get better. What are some areas to check?? Is there a temporary fix? I tried pumping the brakes, but it doesn't help.

Anyone in the Phoenix area can help me with this?

BTW, it is a 88 Civic LX sedan

why don't you take off the wheel and see where it's leaking from. I would check the brake caliper, follow it to the coupler that connects to the hard line then all the way back to the MBC. I would guess it maybe a crack in the rubber hose or the banjo fitting on the caliper.

youre already doing the temporary fix.. heh..
find out where its leaking from.. you might loose all braking while driving one day and crash.. fix the leak.. bleed the brakes.. front and rear.. and stop worring about it

Yes... drum brakes require brake fluid as well.

i think you should buy a repair manual for your vehicle.. rear the entire brake section then try to work on your car..

You have to see where it's coming from by wiping away the brake fluid from the hardlines connection and brake parts area. Like caliper, master cylinder, proportional valve, drums (if you have any), brake hoses.. If you see that it started to drip either tighten it or replace the part.
