Well you probably shouldn't drive your car until you get this worked out.

You need to find exactly where the fluid is leaking from. If it is leaking from the rear caliper then it needs to be replaced.

Have you checked to make sure the wheel cylinders aren't leaking?

Well if the leak seems to be coming from where you describe, then it could be the rubber brake hose that runs from the metal line under the car to the caliper. Those are fairly cheap and easy to change.

It could also be the caliper itself, which is still less than 100 bucks.

If it is leaking from a flexible rubber line that is attached to the caliper, then that is the brake hose that you are talking about. You need a new one. They are not expensive, like 25 to 30 dollars.

You could probably take your car to a shop and have them install it for you, and bleed your brake system for 100 dollars or less (including the cost of the parts).

These hoses are rubber from the factory. Some people will replace the rubber hoses with braided steel lines, so that could be why yours are metal.

When you replace it don't bother to get the steel braided lines, get the standard rubber hoses from a local auto parts store or repair shop.

Hey did you ever get this figured out? What was the problem and how much did it cost you to get it fixed?
