I'm trying to get the plastic guard off the hard fuel lines on a '97 civic to patch a leak. The guard runs the length of the line on the underside of the vehicle. I've taken off the bolts, and it looks like the guard is just snapped onto the lines, but I'm having a heck of a time trying to remove it. Any tricks or suggestitons? thanks.

Has anyone here actually worked on a car? Maybe touched the fuel lines and has had success getting that stupid guard off easily? Probably not. Too busy putting huge spoilers and neon kits on their ricers.
