Default Problem with V-tech?

When I try to Hit v-tech in 1st gear it doesn't sound like it fully kicks in. It doesn't sound the same as the other gears when it kicks in plus it don't pull hard either. What could be the problem?

First thing I would do is check or if it's been a while change the oil. Then go from there.

Take it in to the dealer.

Tell him that the VTEC doesn't engage as hard in 1st as it does in the higher gears (like 4th, 5th).

If he doesn't believe you just show him your timeslips compared to those of other ITRs with similar mods. If your car is significantly slower, than something is obviously wrong.

I had a similar problem with my car, the V-Tech in 3rd gear just wasn't as strong as it was when I had under 1000 miles on the car. The dealer took care of it for me.

You have committed the greatest cardinal sin on Honda-Tech. VTEC is holy. Thou shalt not mis-spell it no matter how much of a dumbass you are.

REMEMBER
