Default H22A topmount intercooler piping

Hi,

Just wondering how you guys with topmounts on h22a's are running your intercooler piping from the compressor housing to the intercooler. The problem im facing is the alternator. I have a low mount alternator bracket but space is still pretty tight. I was thinking about a backdoor entry cooler but thought i might see what everyone else was doing.

pics would be great

my setup (h22 in eg) is pretty similiar to this -

backdoor, all the way. As long as you have a normal civic sized radiator, it will work great. trying to route it any other way just isn't worth the hassle.

Backdoor is going to be the easiest way. You'll most likely need to fab up one short pipe from the compressor to the backdoor and have somewhere between a 30-45 degree bend. Routing it around the alt is a pain in the *** regardless of if you are running the relocation kit.

I'll see if I can get you some better pictures but here's a pic of the last one we did in an EG:
