Default Car was stolen - Wiring?

So my sisters 94 teg was stolen and fortunately recovered the day after. The problem I have is that the damn theives disengaged the steering lock and managed to get it to start with out the key. I think I can reassemble the steering column with out too much trouble, the problem is what they did to get it to start. Is there some where I should be checking for extra wires, splicing, etc to fix the problem. Feel free to pm me to keep any information from being publicly displayed. Thanks in advance! Jason

theirs this white circle thing once you take the cover off the the sterring coloum you have to unbolt that, stick a flat head into it and turn it, that will start the car without the key

Interesting, so if they did it that way I should be able to just bolt everything back together and be good to go. Hope that's the case. Thanks!!
