I know Steve Oaks ran dry sump set up for a while. Try and look for Info on there car.

. Are you going up to battle in NJ this weekend? Were thinking about it still haven't decided my trans is out again from MIR trying some new things with the FD. We should have ricks car back together and another new addition to the crew should be out

Just curious. What type of setup are you running that your interested in a Dry sump? It's not "needed" in most cars I also know in some track classes a dry sump is not permitted.

no i will be at the marcus dairy meet being it is local to me and im trying to sell the car ,,,but after this meet i will be at the next east coast event ..

I am just investigating it as of right now. I have an all motor set up as of now and think it wil stay that way. From what I can see it is a small percentage gain. Seems like the bgger block american engins use it all the time in race applications for double digit gains in HP. Just wondering how it would apply to the H22 in the tight setup of the prelude.

basically what their talking about ,are external oil system meaning the pump is mounted out side the block and runs off a belt like a alternator..they have 2 types a wet and a dry system

Oh ok. We wont be up at ATCO this weekend for Battle to much going on. But we should be back in the swing of thing for Battle MIR. With new tricks up the sleeve for the prelude and the Hatch
