Default 98 accord,high beam problem!

something strange is going on with my right high-beam.when i turn them on,left one works, right one does not, also there is no power in the right high-beam when i turn them on.but when they are turned off,of course both don't lit,but then there is a power in the right high-beam.most of the times right high beam won't work, but sometimes it just does.also sometimes when the right one works,in the middle of the drive it would shut off by itself.before to get the right one to work i had to do this: A.turn on low-beams B.turn on high-beams (only left one works) C.turn off low beams D.turn on low beams again, and then right high beam would lit! last year dealer checked it and said does not pay off to fix it,too expensive, but they didn't tell me what was it.i really need both high beams to work,i drive at night.whats the problem, where can i fix it? thx a lot!

I have the same problem. Right highbeam has no power going to it. The harness looks untouched. Could it be a relay or computer problem? Please help!

Ok, just changed the DRL fuse (in the panel to the left of the steering wheel inside the car). The headlights now both work - I have no clue why, but they do. Try that.

was it just the normal fuse or did you fix the entire module?

my problem is that I have no DRLs , and no pass side high beam. The answer I got was to fix the module but I’d rather just change a fuse of that’s the case haha!

Could you have any bulbs burned out? I've had a few times where a bulb burned out, causing a weird set of problems, and only after replacing it.

Another time I had an issue because I was changing to LED lights and headlights wouldn't work until I had the majority of them changed over.

Nope , when I bought the car. The passanger Highbeam did not work so that’s what motivated me to switch to LED and so I did and everything worked except for the passanger highbeam. And the DRLs never worked either and again I was told that the high beams and the DRL modules are connected because they use the same bulb

So I’m guessing it’s gotta be the soldering on the module because why would 1 highbeam work and not the other. If it were a fuse I would assume both wouldn’t work and the DRLs should work as well so I’m thinking three things need to be re soldered but I’m just not sure if I should just buy a new module seeing as it’s a 22 yo car
