ok well for starters.. its a b16a2.. built bottom(not that that matters).. everything was fine when i took the motor out.. other than busted ringlands.. i have an MSD cap.. msd blaster ss coil (which i can fire manually).. I did try to hook up a msd 6al box.. but took it out trying to narrow the problem.. i know the igniter is fine because I swapped with my other civic and it runs like a champ.. the only CEL is #1 which is odd because I have the o2 sensor disabled in crome... it did throw #15 Ignition output signal with the igniter removed but went away after re installation. i did custom make my engine harness (full wire tuck) but everything seems fine as im not throwing any codes other than #1. the only thing different is the omni 4bar map sensor but my rom is setup for it and it should still fire.. the blaster coil ohms out just fine.. im at a loss for what the hell to do here.. somebody throw me a frickin bone =P

PS.. yes i checked fuses!

 

the yel/grn wire from the ecu to the ICM continuity tests fine.. i do not know what proper voltage on it should be but it read around .265 volts DC while cranking. what else is there to test?? could it be the blaster coil? i can fire it manually by grounding it when the ignition is turned on.. both blk/yel and yel/grn from the ICM read 12v with the ignition on..

 

FIXED! turns out and i dont know how because i never took it apart that far but turns out somehow the yel/grn ignition wire from the ecu to the dizzy plug was fine.. but somehow inside the dizzy that wire broke in a place that i never removed... which i figured out finally continuity testing inside the dizzy... little solder and tape and she fired right up! does not make sense why it threw code 15 with the igniter removed but went away after putting it back in even though that wire was somehow broken.. oh well she lives!!! great to hear her purr again after 6 months. for it taking me 5 hours to figure it out.. first time ive ever built a motor and she runs!
