2000 accord coupe front bumper
I recently dented my front bumper and the paint began to chip off near the impact site. The silver paint has cracks in it and some of it already fell off and is exposing the layer underneath. It looks like it's going to get worse unless I do something about it. I plan on repainting it but being a college student, can not afford to at the moment. Is there any way for me to stop the damage from spreading further?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The damage is done... if the bumper has even more cracks is probably from flexing/high speeds or is getting hit more often than you think.
Don't worry about more cracks appearing on the paint, because when i shop has to paint the bumper, the entire bumper has to be done, and that includes the repair of all cracking on the bumper... that's just the standard of it.
