Exedy Stage 1, with ACT flywheel. Had that combo, when I had my B18C Civic back in 2006. Tracked it a few times, never had a problem.

I had an ACT HD/SS with a JUN flywheel for 9 years without a single problem. I loved the pedal feel and response that combination yielded. It grabbed hard every time, and in most situations was actually easier to drive than the stock setup, despite the stiffer pedal.

However, next time around I will probably buy an ATS (or whatever they're calling it these days) single-disc carbon setup. They're fully rebuildable and supposedly have a near-stock pedal feel.

hmmm. i gonna have to look into that. as long as it is relyable, not to stiff pedal feel for traffic, and perform well. 9 years sounds like a lot of abuse for a clutch too.

I have a Competition Clutch Stage II clutch and 12lbs flywheel in my 94 ls with a B20 swap and it feels great. Stiffer than stock but not too stiff and the grab is amazing

well i was leaning tward a 8 lb flywheel. i will make a sacrafice for some extra TQ. but it should be ok in terms of longevity right? like it wount warp easily lets say for maybe a act prolite flywheel? then maybe like a stage 1 or2 clutch on top of that may be a decent. nothing over stage 1 or 2.

Get the street ACT flywheel (what was on the civic), 10.5LB i believe. Your gonna need the extra rotating mass. Also ACT is also very good, Heavy Duty pressure plate with a unsprung 6 puck disk is also good. Slightly harder pedal than the exedy, Both worked well.

I highly recomend not going with an unsprung disc for daily driving. You're better off with a sprung disc.

I just installed this combo this past weekend; Competition Stage 2 with the 8 pound flywheel. And so far I really like it.

The only thing that I am not a fan of is that the pedal is a lot softer (which is not neccessarily a bad thing). Its just that I came from a ACT HDSS setup and the medal was much firmer.
