ive been working on installing my 4.7 itr final drive in my B16 and i had a question
when i was reassembling the countershaft it was a pain to touqe the nut down and when it was at the proper 79.6ft lbs the nut hung off the countershaft about 1/8in so i decied to go one more turn big mistake because the brass collar that sits ontop of first gear mushroomed over first gear. so my question is can that nut hang off the countershat and be ok??
