First off i know this question has been asked before. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if i can use an H23 crank in my H22 block with the following setup:
H22 9:1 Je pistons -7.3 dome cc
H22 Crower Rods 143mm or 5.636in
Darton Sleeved block
Are H23 rods key in this setup because they are shorter by a little bit at 5.580mm or 141in. and if i use the H23 crank it should bump my compression up quite a bit. I want to be somewhere right around 11.5 which is where this should be around and it will be a close fit. The piston to deck height will be -.079. I checked it on zealautowerks.com and i know that it is off a little but if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it and if this does not work i will just use the H22 crank and get a higher compression piston i'm just looking for a little more torque with the h23 crank.
Thanks
Zach

H23 crank with H22 rods will normally put the pistons into the head, but it sounds like you're aware of that. Also, keep in mind that newer H22 blocks have bigger mains. Check out the H23/VTEC thread in the prelude forum (it's in the FAQ).
