Default fuel pump not turning on

I have a 95 civic dx with a boosted ls swap, my fuel pump is a 255 walbro pump and at first it would turn on if i tapped the relay, i was driving and my car completely shut off. i went and bought a new relay and fuel pump still wont turn on at all. its not getting any power it seems like. any ideas? it sitting in a grocery store parking lot lol.

I dunno man but I am against anyone buying a after market relay. I would only recommend a dealer one. (not sure what you bought)

The other option is directly powering the fuel pump its the Yellow wire with Black Stripe. if it dosent turn on then the your pump is no good. Which that isnt common but it does happen.

i did the same thing as you a few years ago. had the same problem. rewirwed the fuel pump, and then learned a very valuble lesson. always check ALL FUSES and then re-check ALL FUSES. you might want to give it a shot. mine was the ecu fuse. good luck

it seems like? have you actually checked with a meter?

this is really simple to diagnose, if there's power to it and its not turning on its the pump..

you can get a meter for like 9 bucks.

ya i'll definately check it with a meter first so i dont pointlessly put parts on like i usually do. What fuses can i check besides the ecu? i know theres a fuel pump fuse but i dont know which one it is because it has a integra dash conversion and didnt come with the fuse diagram cover a picture or something would be awesome

check your wiring from relay to pump. ive had a short in the harness before that caused the same thing with my old eg back in the day.

alright so i checked the ecu fuse and it blew so i put a new one in, it blew, i put a 20 in and it blew, and put a 2 30's in, it blew. So Im gonna take a wild guess and say its probably wiring? i put in my buddies ignition coil and it didnt start with that one either. So i'll check wiring today!

Theres a serious short 2 30amp fuses and nothing you should be able to see this one look for a stripped wire or a brown spot that will show where check under the dash also since its a swapped dash. Should be a simple fix but it will be timely if you have to pull the dash out.
