Default Which intake for a GSR CRX?

Finished my B18C (siR-G) swap and am in the market for an intake. (arm specifically)

As you all know, the intake manifold from the GSR motors are dual runners, and the throttle body sits lower in the engine bay. An aftermarket EF intake will not fit correctly.

Any ideas? All I really need is the arm, I can buy a filter from autozone or something.

Oh, I'm relocating my PC680 battery via the Optima relocation kit: http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku

edit: found this hybrid intake on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...06601&

but $214?!? Any cheaper methods that anyone knows of is appreciated.

for about the same price you can buy a skunk2 manifold and then use your stock intake. assuming you have an AEM for you original motor. i would go that route because even if you dont have an AEM for you original motor you can buy a cheap ebay one or find a used AEM intake on CL for about 50.

I regret not getting the S2 manifold. Would have made firewall clearance easier, and I wouldnt have to pay up the *** for a hybrid intake. Next time I guess.

Max, whats vstack?

yeah but then you wouldnt have the mid range that the stock intake has, thats Why I like the GSR manifold, it has a little bit of mid range (compare a type R dyno graph to a GSR).

and as far as being able to find an intake that works, it shouldn't be a problem (regardless of what manifold) since you are moving the battery.
the only thing in the way of using a oem manifold is the fuel filter(the TB is aimed right at it), i didnt have to move mine but its real close.

I have the same swap an i used an AEM short ram for an integra. i dont like how the filter is mounted very close to the distributor/motor, when it should really be near the headlight.
I was looking at some aem 92+ civic intakes that look like they might be routed just like that, near the headlight, i just dont know if the diameter is the same.

Oh and do you live in califonia, if so you might want a carb exempt intake, oh and the hybrid intake isn't exempt.
If not just get some cheap ebay tube.

http://www.bpinitiatives.com/products.php read there

Also blox has it too for cheaper. I run the blox.

It smoothes air flow on the end of your intake personally I found I was quite happy and felt a butt dnyo change.

Plus just a stack with no filter looks hella w1n y0.

what's the credibility on these dyno graphs?

the results are very impressive for the price you pay.

Good thinking on not just buying into their dynos I havn't tested back to back but as I said I felt a little bit more.

I used the blox setup it was a copy *BPIs is a copy as well* of BPI and i paid around 50ish for both filter + stack. I needed a new filter and gave it a whirl I was impressed.
