Default What intake for jdm B18C gsr swap in a 99 dx coupe?

Because of the fact that the gsr intake manifold and throttle body are in a somewhat lower position than a b16a, what intake works with this swap in a 96-00 civic chassis?

Thank you.

Would my stock Ex (d16y8) intake arm fit on the gsr throttle body?

Yeah...that's what we're gonna do first. My buddy gets his motor on Monday...so if anything...we can always go to autozone and buy a cheap intake tube to hold him over until he can get something fancier.

i'm pretty sure the gsr motor has a larger diameter throttle body than the d16. you should just look for an aem made for a gsr in a 96-00 civic. that would be your best bet.

That's what I was thinking...I'll try and convince him to get an AEM Hybrid intake.

Has anybody ever used the AEM short ram intake that is for the 94-01 gsr motor? I know a guy who used an Injen short ram and he said it works fine.

I used a aem sr on my b18c and it performed great and you can't beat the price either.

Try JCwhitney.com they look like a shitty company, but they have the intake for $109.99-119.99
