High idle when cold!!!help
ok so i have a 97 ls with the stock ls motor and when i start it up after its cold it idles at about 25-3000 rpm then goes down then up and down until its warm...any ideas of what it could be? plz help it drives me crazy

possibly the FITV or fast idle thermo valve
its usually under the throttle body. it has a cap on the end of it with 2 screws, take those off and there is a ring with a button sorrta thing in it, screw that all the way back in.
