I drove with 3 studs on my old hatch for a few months until I upgraded to Integra brakes. 4 > 3 studs

if its rear wheel stud then its really simple to knock out the old one and press in a new one.

for the front, a hub will need to come out thus, requiring the bearing to be changed in most case or another way would be the less then perfect way, by shaving some material off the stud and knuckle.

OP, when you get it replaced you should invest in some anti sieze grease to help try and prevent this from happening again.

Pull the spindle, press out the hub from the spindle, then press out the broken stud, and press in a new one. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Done.

wow.</TD></TR></TABLE>

It works and is a common way to do it.

OP: replace them all if you do it the proper way. Even if the others aren't broken yet, you might as well just replace them. (on the one hub I mean, not all 20...)

I wasn't saying wow to the reference of the procedure. I had to read that literally 5 times before it made sense.
