Si vs cx,dx,lx,ex fenders
A friend of mine is selling some 99-00 oem fenders and some dude asked him whether they were Si fenders or regular civic fenders. I think that there is no difference between them but this dude thinks otherwise.
This is exactly what he said "99-00 SI is totally different from 99-00 EX LX DX, etc. But the front end for 99-00 EX LX DX, etc are all the same. They fit each other. The 99-00 Coupes have the same frontend as the Sedans. 96-98 fronts look like the 99-00 but their different. You can put a 99-00 front end on a 96-98 car and it'll fit and viseversa. But their different. The headlights and the grill are diffirent."
Who is correct?

You're right. In fact, I even got proof from Honda.
Looking up the front fender part numbers for a 1999 Civic Si coupe:

Checking to see what other models and trims and years use the same part number for each side fender:

His friend's opinion wasn't stated.
Friend's opinion: ???
Potential buyer's opinion: Si fenders are different than other '99-'00 fenders.
OP's opinion: There is no difference between the different trims.
Granted that the guy who's asking about them shares this idea with a lot of other people.

Sort of...
Difference is between 96-98 and 99-00 front fenders - period.
There IS a difference between 96-98 and 99-00... believe me on this. I got a 99 Si front clip on my 98 HX!
CX, DX, EX, GX, HX, LX are the same, 96-98.
CX, DX, EX, GX, HX, LX, Si, Value Package (VP) are the same, 99-00.
