I'm not quite sure what you mean, but if you want to replace a 99-00 grille with an Si grill it is possible. You have to get the Si trim ring and insert, not just the insert (it's too small to fit the regular trim opening.

From what I've read the 99-00 have always been removeable..? Someone correct me, because I'm pretty sure I'm wrong.

Those headlights are 99-00 civic SI headlights....that car used to be my buddies and he did that front end coversion with my help. I know

All 99-00 headlights are the same. The only difference between the Si front end, and the other 99-00 is the grille trim and insert, and it came with a lip standard.
