I have a 2007 VW gti... it's mildely modded.
Ii have basic bolt ons, coilovers and wheels.
BUT, i'm sick of it. i hate FWD and i'm considering an s2k as my next car.
I would love an 04/05 white with red leather interior.
Obviously everyone here is going to prefer the s2k but i'd like to get some input, and i'm not sure the s2k is the car for me.... i haven't even got the chance to sit in one yet because no dealers around me have one.
being 6'3 220 lbs would i fit alright in one?

how are they in the rain/snow (with the proper tires)

well the height really wasn't my biggest problem... i've heard i'll fit from quite a few people, i'm more concerned about the actual trade in of my car for the s2k... what do the people on this forum is a better daily driver + what likes mod's more. if i do pick up the s2k i'll most likely supercharge it down the road.

we're not nice to morons. you seem like you'll do fine. take a test drive first, ask questions second.

 

I love GTis, I'm looking forward to getting one as a dd when I finish school. But I agree with everyone, test drive and test drive. Your height and weight isn't a huge issue as I just had a buddy ride in mine the other day and he's almost the exact same size as you.

 

beware of the test drive as soon as it happens your soul will autaticly be sold to this car.

 

i think what i might have to end up doing is waiting until my finance is over and then buy an s2k as it is a pain in the A to privately sell a car while you still owe money on it. So i think i'll be waiting another 10-12 months or so. to me, i posted here before i did my research. BUT i will be sticking around on this forum because i like it. and i'll be trying to do my research on this car
