top hat,one nut is stuck
the passenger front side top hat have one nut stuck on the stud.
I was wondering is there a way to get it out?
like it spin freely.
or i have to cut the top hat stud and put a new top hat on?

To get the nut off, get a vice grips adn clamp the piston down, whammy the nut WILL come off. TO assist spray nut down with pbblaster.
Strut piston is then destroyed and you need new strut

Not knowing what a top hat is..are you serious? Am I missing sarcasm...?

Are you referring to the studs on the top hat itself? The ones that secure it to the strut tower?
Or are you referring to the nuts that secure the shock to the hat?
