Just bought an intake and need some help
I just installed a brand new short ram intake on my 1997 Honda Civic EX with a GSR motor that I just bought about a month ago. The breather hose that connects to the Valve Cover does not fit so I removed it and plug the Valve Cover with a little filter type thing. Now I just have this dangling hard line around. I want to eliminate it but there is another line connected to it. Looks as if it goes from under the Throttle Body to underneath the Vtec Solenoid?
What can I do to replace this?

what i did to my intake is left the metal hose there and i think cut the metal line a little shorter then stuck one of those filters on the end like you were talking about. I did this cause i was too lazy to replace the other vaccum line

x2, use a cut off wheel or something if you want to get rid of the breather hard line, and if you take the whole thing off and put on a new hose for the radiator fluid, get a hose that is rated to handle those temps, i found that part out the hard way on my EG when the hose melted

take the hose off and take it to the parts store and tell them that you need like 2 feet of that and 2 clamps don't drive your car there as it will leak out some coolant. get a little pre-mixed coolant to top it off
cut the hose to length when you can get ack to the car
