I'm guessing you're from Canada. The U.S. 99 Si is DOHC.
Go to Walmart. Buy some 5W-30 oil. Pour THAT kind in.
BTW, more details would help. What do you use the car for, how many miles, previous service history...etc.

But the recommendation is back-dated to older vehicles. The original requirement was 5W-30. That's why you see it on older oil caps and manuals.
