Default Problems with my LS CRX

I have a 88 CRX SI with a LS B18a1 in it.. Every now and then ill be cruising and the car will just shut off. It feels like it runs out of gas.. I have all new ignition parts (Coil, Plus, Distributor, Wires) I have recently bought a new main relay from honda and I put a 90 Integra Fuel pump in.. I dont know if maybe the integra fuel pump is messing it up or not but who knows.. Also sometimes my starter will not engage I will here it click and draw voltage but it will not rotate. after a few turns of the key it will finnaly turn.. Any help would be nice

What is the status of your ignition switch, has it ever been replaced?

Nope it has never been replaced.. Would the switch being bad cause it to do that?

I don't know about the feeling about "running out of gas," but back in 2003 I dealt with my car randomly turning off and not starting unless I prayed to the good raptor Jesus and it turned out to be the ignition switch.

Your ignition switch contact assembly is bad. It's the electronic switch at the opposing end of the ignition tumbler. Common problem.
