Default JDM B16a VTEC

Okay ive got a few questions before i start wiring my vtec harness. first what if the holes for the pins i need to plug into the ecu connectors are already filled?
second does a d16a6 from a 1988 honda crx have a knock sensor or does the JDM B16a not have one because everything is plugged into the back of my engine where there should be a plug the harness doesnt hook up to. heres a picture of what i think could be the knock sensor but im not sure. keep in mind the harness on the engine is from a d16a6

next what do the 2 wires do on this plug. i know it relates to vtec and oil pressure or something but i need to know what each color means so i can pin it to the ecu right

and the green plug is where it goes to

thanks for any answers

On ur last pic, the green plus is vtec oil pressure switch. The green wire is ground. red is the signal from ecu.
On the white clip next to the green one, if your vtec soleniod, that also is a single wire that goes to your ecu.

Your JDM B16A has a knock sensor because mine does in my 1990 Integra RS. I had hell with the knock code since the shop that had done the swap on my buddies used to be 1990 Integra didn't wire it up correctly... He sold it to me for $500 because he was tired of it...Fixed it now though...So wire up that knock...

Because the plug you used goes to something else like your air idle control valve or tps...check all of the sensors on the back of the intake manifold because some share the same style plug. The 88-91 civic/crx does NOT come wired with a knock sensor in the states so you will need to wire it up.

ground it anywhere. all grounds on the car are essentially the same. i ran a new wire to mine and then grounded a few other things to it.

hey do you still need a pic of my engine bay with those diaphragms on the intake removed?
