i think that changing a header is one of the easiest things to do. only thing i can tell you is to get some pb blaster or some liquid wrench and start spraying the studs a few days to a week before hand, on a daily basis. the studs on the exhaust manifold, the studs connecting the header to the cat and the studs that connect the y pipe (remove the exhaust manifold if it's on there). just do spray it down once a day and it'll make the job go so much faster. might not be able to get under the car to spray the cat bolts, but if you can, do it! that is my only complaint about doing it. tools are very simple too. just a good ratchet set and a nice extension to get up to the y pipe bolts.

ok i got my header in, it was a b@#$h if you have no patients like me and want to do it right away (YOU NEED TO SOAK IT WITH WD40 FIRST, FOR A WHILE!!! TRUST ME) my question is, my hand prints stayed on and now it looks ugly and it looks as if it were to peel off of something, is there a way to take that off? is it bad to leave it like that?

I use rubbing alcohol. But you have to clean it BEFORE running the motor...afterwards is too late.
WD40 is not the best for breaking bolts free. Next time use a penetrant like PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench.

just pull the header back off, get some header wrap, and wrap it. won't ever notice the finger prints in there again, and will help lower your engine bay temps.

header wraps are really hard on headers. Hold too much heat in the metal, and they will fail prematuraly.

No, they don't hold moisture.
