I recently bought a used DC 4-2-1 Header and Magnaflow catback for my 01 GS. No hardware such as bolts/nuts etc. were included with either. The header is in two pieces and the cat back has a glass packed resonator. I figure I also need to replace all the gaskets; exhaust manifold, header-cat, cat-magnaflow b-pipe, b-pipe-axleback. Am I missing any other gaskets?
And as for the hardware, are there any special requirements such as high temp bolts/nuts or will any that fit do just fine?
I know these parts are seemingly just bolt on and go, but I want to make sure I do this right and don't run into any little problems in the future.
Mahalo/Thanks all.

head to header = 1 gasket
two pieces header = 1 more gasket
collector to cat = 1 gasket
cat to piping = 1 gasket (if you have welded cat to piping then, this didn't count)
as far as bolts and nuts...any that works...they will not melt for whatever reason, make sure you got washers, or springs, u can use thread lock,,,i would recommend this. Because exhaust piping will shake hard, and the virabration will losen the bolts and nuts out which will lead to leak. Just to be safe u should do it
make sure you dont have rattling problem...spend a few bucks and go to homedepo or something, then buy yourself a high-heat anti rush. take it home and paint ur exhaust piping...if you want

Right on yeegsr. Thanks for the info. For the two pieces of the DC header, do I need a special gasket from them or is it okay to use the gasket material from like Checkers/Kragen and cut it to fit the top header piece to the bottom.
I'll also be using the stock cat until I can pick up a size matched cat. I've heard great things about carsound, any other recommendations?

Random technology makes aftermarket catalytic converters, however I do not know if they make them for your car.
Some of your gaskets might not need to be replaced. The metal one from the head to the header can probably be reused. When I took off my header at about 20K the gasket looked NEW. The BEST thing to do is get new gaskets but if it aint broke......dont fix it.
