will a 95 ex tranny work for a 99 civc?

im in need of a tranny but I have found a lot of eg transmissions,will these work for an ek civic?

the answere is yes, all d-series are interchangeable

really? and im assuming the gears in a ex are different then that of a cx?

shorter gears, better for acceleration
