Default No Top End Power

Hey Guys,
I Have a 96 GS-R swap.
Just replaced the Stock Flywheel and the cluth that was in it with a Fidanza 7.5lb flywheel and exedy clutch.

First off, it feels like i have absolutely no power after 6500 rpm. used to be able to take my shifts all the way before redline and feel power till about 8000rpm but now i have to shift at about 7000rpm, My natural instinct kicks in and i just have to shift. Feels flat at 7000rpm just nothing there and doesnt sound like it will rev out any farther. Motor gets pretty loud as well. The motor is still running a really good compression so im pretty sure the motor isnt going south. Everyone told me when i got the 7.5lb flywheel that its gonna raise the top end power a little bit but so sure doesnt feel like it and i cant figure out why. Any ideas woould be helpful. Thanks

Also when we put the tranny back in some coolant got spilled and i think some got on the speedometer sensor because it doesnt work anymore ><. Would that fry the sensor?

V-tec is working as well.

Thanks guys

Lightweight flywheels don't "give" you horsepower

you dont lose any torque whatso ever.

the topic of flywheels has been beaten, and you guys are giving him wrong info on flywheels, it wasnt even his question to begin with.

No speedo No v-tec?
Truth?

Pulled out my speedo sensor the gear is fine and the internal gear is fine. Just not registering to the gauge

And after further inspection my v-tec is not coming on which is why its being a turd.

Replaced the solenoid, nothing.
Re-checked the Wiring to the ECU, nothing.
Ran the codes came up with a 23 which is the pressure switch.
So no speedo no v-tec if there is truth to that then thats the place to start i suppose.

But where the problem with my speedo is i have no clue.

its either broken, or the electrical wires to it are messed up somewhere.
