Default STRAIGHT PIPED EJ6 RUNNING RICH....

i have a ex header without a cat on my 96 ek, and only one o2 sensor is plugged in and its running rich, if i have my other o2 sensor welded somewhere on the piping would it run normal without a cat?? or would it still throw off the ecu??

cat or no cat shouldn't matter, its however much fuel your ecu is telling ur injectors to spit out. if the o2 sensor isn't sending out the right signal your car will run rich/lean. so yes, you need to get that o2 sensor installed for ur car to not run AS rich.

in short, yes. IT SHOULD run the way it was meant to be ran (w/2 o2's) but if something else is causing it to run rich ur gonna have to fix that too.
