Well my car is have a bogging problem, and the cel is 71 which is a misfire on cylinder 1. so i was thinking and it couldnt be the spark plug wires and the spark plug cause i have changed it already. so all is left is the distributor right? and could the distributor cause the car to misfire there for leading to making the car bog on like every gear on low Rpm? (this is for a 96 Ek)

 

i'm not sure about the distributor but it could be timing problem but i'm not sure either.

 

I'm having the same problem and couldn't figure out what's wrong with it. I've even change ngk plugs, wires, and rotor to see that was the issue but no luck. Yah...there's no cel either.

 

yeah i will check on the timing. never thought about it at all.
