Default b18c5 bore questions

recently bought a c5 block. the guy before me droped a valve..

the cylinfer walls look alright just some scraching so i wanna bore it to get ride of them.

i was wondering if i could get it bored to 82mm if it would be safe. i would be useing 82mm jdm itr replica pistons. about 11.5.1cr

if not safe could i jus use a block gaurd too brace the cylinder walls up?

dont really want to resleeve but if i absolutly have to i will

this would increase my torque a little right cuz of the bigger displacment?

The conventional H-T wisdom is that 82mm is safe on stock sleeves.

been running on 82mm bore with ITR pistons and Blox B cams for over 2 years now, and no problems yet. (Knocks on wood)
