obd1 distributor

obd1 distributor
my distributor went bad in my crx (crank position sensor) and it is in limp mode, i have a obd1 distributor lying around, is there anyway i could use the obd1 or parts off of it on my obd0 crx?

i know the plugs are different, but if i remember right the obd1 and obd0 distributors aren't the same.. which is why i was wondering if i could just use parts from the obd1
