Default shift linkage Q

this guy sold me a shift linkage and said it was off a 92 SI hatchback
now im trying to put it onto my EX/SI trans by bolting the torque rod section onto the extension bracket but the shift rod portion
(or the bar with the bitch pin at the end)
seems to be a bit short...

am i doing it wrong or did i get ripped off?

Should fit right in if it was what he said it was. I'd go back and throw it through his window

it looks way to far away but have you tried shifting the gears to see if you and the tranny are in the same gear

that's a b series shift linkage. you can tell by where the 12 bolt is suppose to go through.

couldnt find a pix of the d series from yahoo so here's one from ebay. this is how a d series shift linkage is.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

notice that part where the 12 nut is suppose to go through..
