You have to remove the peice above it too, they are connected.

there are 4 screws holding that on. 2 down low on either side and 2 up top, open the glovebox to find the one one on the passenger side.

and I forget how two those are peices are connected to each other but they do come apart, so dont cut it.

once you get the whole center piece out, there should be screws behind the ashtray on the inside of the console that need to be removed. you may have to remove the ash tray guide to get to them, i don't remember. get those screws off and it should come right apart.

Just an update . I got it all apart and instaled the other console , but i can only get one of the screws to line up .Ive read in other posts about other people getting three of the four screws to line up ???? the only one i can get lined up is the one on the passenger side . I know that its not a direct bolt in , but im just wondering if im missing something ???

nope your not missing anything, its all custom. I was able to get all the screws back in, at an angle, and one I slotted the hole (on the console peice) to get it in.

yeah, i could only get mine to line up to the pass. side hole as well. i just made another hole on the drivers side to secure it there and it was good. I still have a gap and I may fiddle with it moreto get it a little more flush but you have to work at it a bit. good luck.
