Stock motor?

Willing to upgrade things?

Just asking for a random number?

What kind of kit are you running?

Wrong wrong annnnnnnd wrong.

1) Iridium plugs are the WORST thing you can do for your motor. Get NGK coppers in the correct heat range.

2) Stock honda igntions have made upwards of 600~ hp, so i think properly operating ignition components are more important then red or shiny ones.

3) The real way to quote unquote safely use nitrous is to MAKE SURE YOU ADD THE DAMNED FUEL. The only time you should EVER use a dry shot system is when the ecu is calibrated (via hondata or the like) to shoot a hell of alot more fuel.

Nitrous has a greater release of energy per cubic inch then ambient air does (alot more). So basically think of it as cramming more air into your cylidner. What does more air require? MORE FUEL!! And anyone that tells you that your o2 sensor will compensate for the difference should put it on paper so you can send them a bill for a new block when you detonate a piston through your cylinder wall.

The point of the story? Use a calibrated wet shot or tune the **** out of it so when you're WOT and the nitrous is flowing its dumping a LOT more fuel. The road to hell is paved with good intentions..... and dry shot systems.

get 2step colder ngk plugs then stock, stock ignition is fine and make sure you have the fuel to keep from running lean. if you have everything and its a good running motor i wouldnt be scared to run a 100shot, i run a 75 shot on my single cam vtec and havent had any prob.

I dont have a masters degree in anything, just a general understanding of how combustion motors work

Some people swear by iridiums, I've seen nothing but dyno-days ruined and replacing them for the cheap (but still very effective) copper NGKs.
