Hi, I currently drive a 95 Integra, but have been looking to buy an 99 - 00 EK hatch. One thing that concerns me with the EK hatch is that it doesn't have power steering or power windows. I understand that power windows is something that can be added later, but what about the power steering, can that also be added later?
Also, I've seen some EK hatches with sunroofs, where can you get that added?

sorry forgot to answer ur ? yes u can add it on later only if u have all the stuff of course same thing goes with the sunroof or you can get an after market one

ps came on 96-00 dx hatches, cx models didnt have it. Sunroofs didnt come on any usdm 96-00 hatches, they are either aftermarket or converted from uk, jdm civics.

Power Steering - Not available in CX, Optional in DX
Power Windows - Not available in CX, Not available in DX
Moonroof - Not available in CX, Not available in DX
Air Conditioning - Optional in CX, Optional in DX

Anything that I listed as being not available could often be installed as a "dealer option". Generally speaking these are aftermarket parts, not factory.

Since most dealerships are not willing to cut the roof out, special order a roof skin from overseas (sedan and coupe roof skins are different) and install a stock roof into a hatch that way, I've never seen a stock moonroof in a USDM hatchback.

Oh, and though you might already know, there are no EKs in the US. The '96-'00 hatchbacks in the US are both EJ6s.
